Gardening, how to relax yourself some I truly love gardening during the summer months. It's such a joy and a great relaxation tool as well. It can also help you stay fitter than if you led a totally sedentary life. There is some lifting involved of the top soils and the peat moss and any other nutrient rich soil additive that you add to your gardens. I took a liking to gardening a number of years ago and have learned a lot about the subject. Some of the plants that I currently have in my gardens are purple coneflowers, day lillies, asiatic lillies, coriopsis and chrysanthemums. Each type of these flowers bloom at different points throughout the spring - summer - fall seasons. The asiatic lilles and the day lillies generally bloom between the later half of June and the early part of July. The chrysanthemums bloom usually in September. Some of the other flowers that I have planted using bulbs are tulips and krokus. The tulips and the krokus plants tend to start peeking out of the soil in mid to late April to early May and tend to bloom for a week or 2 at most. They are a refreshing part of spring finally arriving after a long, cold winter.
